(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Colts open a three-day rookie mini-camp today at the team’s West Side Indianapolis headquarters.
The weekend is an opportunity for the Colts' new draft picks and rookie free agents to get acclimated to life in the National Football League.
It also is the first mini-camp to be conducted by new head coach Jim Caldwell.
The veterans have been working in the voluntary off-season conditioning program since March 30th.
Organized team activities for the veterans aren't scheduled to start until May 19th.
