(MILWAUKEE) - Alfonso Soriano hit a two-run homer and Milton Bradley added an RBI single as the Chicago Cubs scored four runs in the top of the third inning and defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2.
Milwaukee jumped out to the early lead on a solo homer from Rickie Weeks in the first and an RBI triple from Jason Kendall in the second before Chicago erupted in the third off Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan.
Sean Marshall pitched five innings and picked up the win for Chicago as the Cubs avoided a three-game series sweep.
Suppan took the loss for the Brewers.
