(CHICAGO, IL) - Derrek Lee’s grand slam in the bottom of the fifth put Chicago up for good as the Cubs defeated the Florida Marlins 6-4.
Lee snapped a 2-2 tie when he launched a Ricky Nolasco pitch over the centerfield wall. Mike Fontenot had hit a solo shot earlier for Chicago as the cubs took the final three games of the four-game set at Wrigley Field.
Carlos Zambrano picked up the win despite leaving the game after five innings with a hamstring injury. Zambrano was injured beating out a bunt single.
He improves to 3-1 while Nolasco falls to 1-3.
