(OXFORD) - Former Indiana University basketball player Nick Williams has decided to transfer to the University of Mississippi.
Williams averaged nine points and four and-a-half rebounds per game in his only season with the Hoosiers, starting 29 games as a freshman.
He will sit out the 2009-2010 season and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Williams announced last month that he would leave the IU program at the end of the semester.
Hoosiers Coach Tom Crean said that Williams left due to concerns about his role with the team.
