(UNDATED) - Indiana has received a warning from the NCAA and Ball State has been penalized a scholarship due to academic progress rate scores for their men’s basketball teams that fell below minimum standards.
The APR scores were released Wednesday and the Hoosiers and Cardinals were two of twelve men's basketball teams to receive warnings.
The scores covered the 2004-2005 season through the 2007-2008 year.
If the teams do not rise above the minimum score of 925 without achieving benchmarks regarding progress, they could face a loss of practice time and the loss of up to two scholarships.
