(INDIANAPOLIS) - Kevin Russo’s two-run single in the top of the eighth gave the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees a 7-5 win over the Indianapolis Indians in the opener of a four-game series at Victory Field.
John Rodriguez hit a three-run homer and drove in four for the Yankees with Shelly Duncan adding a solo shot.
Neil Walker had a two-run single for Indianapolis as the Tribe loses for the first time in three games.
Scranton has won three straight heading to this evening's game in Indianapolis.
