(CINCINNATI, OH) - Jonny Gomes drove in three runs and Aaron Harang picked up the win as the Cincinnati Reds defeated Houston 8-5, sending the Astros to their fifth-straight loss.
Gomes went 3-for-4 with RBI singles in the first and fourth innings. He drew a bases-loaded walk in the fifth.
Harang allowed three runs on ten hits while contributing offensively with an RBI single that concluded the Reds' scoring in their five-run bottom of the first.
Lance Berkman continued to hammer Reds pitching, hitting a two-run homer in the top of the first for the Astros.
