(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana High School Athletic Association announced Wednesday that the football state finals will remain at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the next three years.
The deal to stay at the stadium was made possible by the Indianapolis Colts, who will be the presenting sponsor of the entire tournament for the next three years.
IHSAA Commissioner Blake Ress says the deal was necessary to keep the state finals in Indianapolis.
Last November's finals were the first at Lucas Oil Stadium and drew a two-day total of more than 56-thousand fans.
