(INDIANAPOLIS) - A date has been set for an arbitrator to hear Pacers Guard Jamaal Tinsley’s grievance against the club.
The case will be heard on July 27th in New York City with a decision expected within 30 to 45 days of the hearing.
The NBA Players Association filed the grievance on behalf of Tinsley in February.
Tinsley is still on the Pacers' roster, but has not played since the 2007-2008 season after being banished by Team President Larry Bird.
Bird has been trying to work out a trade ever since, but Bird says he will not buy out the remainder of Tinsley's contract, which extends through next season.
