(INDIANAPOLIS) - Veterans Paul Tracy and Scott Sharp topped the speed chart as they took refresher laps on the first day of rookie orientation at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Tracy turned in a top speed of 223.089 miles an hour with Sharp coming in second at 221.878.
Robert Doornbos was quickest amongst the rookies with a top lap of 221.735.
Doornbos, Raphael Matos, Alex Tagliani and Mike Conway passed all four phases of their rookie tests.
ROP concludes today with the veterans taking to the track for open practice later this afternoon.
