(ST. LOUIS) - The Milwaukee Brewers extended their winning streak to five games with an 8-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Milwaukee jumped on Cardinals starter Todd Wellemeyer early with JJ Hardy and Jason Kendall hitting two-run singles in the first.
Nick Stavinoha and Colby Rasmus had RBI's for the Redbirds in the sixth before Prince Fielder put the game away with a three-run homer in the seventh.
Manny Parra picked up the win to improve to 3-4 with Wellemeyer taking the loss to fall to 3-4.
