(CINCINNATI, OH) - The Atlanta Braves snapped a four-game losing streak with a 7-0 shutout of the Cincinnati Reds.
Tommy Hanson threw six shutout innings and hit an RBI single to improve to 2 and 0.
Nate Mclouth hit a two-run home run and Matt Diaz added a solo shot for Atlanta.
Cincinnati rookie Matt Maloney took the loss, allowing six runs on six hits over five and two-thirds innings to fall to 0 and 2.
The reds are in third place in the N-1 Central and fall 3 ½ games behind Idle Milwaukee.
