(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago Cubs completed a three-game sweep of Cleveland, but didn’t have to work as hard on Sunday as they defeated the Indians 6-2.
Randy Wells picked up his first major league win, allowing two runs on five hits over six and two-thirds innings to move to 1-3 on the season.
Geovany Soto homered and drove in two to pace the Chicago offense as the Cubs cruised after needing extra innings to beat the Indians in the first two games of the series.
Jeremy Sowers took the loss for Cleveland to fall to 1-5.
The Indians have lost six games in a row.
