(ATLANTA, GA.) - The rubber game of a three-game series between the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves was rained out.
First pitch at Turner Field was delayed by 2 hours and 20 minutes before the game was called off.
The Cubs were coming off a 3-2 win on Wednesday and were set to welcome starter Carlos Zambrano back from a six-game suspension.
Zambrano is now expected to start tonight in Cincinnati.
The Cubs are 26-25, three-and-a-half games behind NL Central leaders Milwaukee and Saint Louis, and enter the weekend a game back of their next opponent, Cincinnati, in the standings.
