(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever made a roster move on Wednesday, signing former Ohio State center Jessica Davenport.
Davenport replaces Yolanda Griffith on the roster.
Griffith tore her left Achilles' tendon against Seattle on June 9th and underwent surgery on Tuesday.
Davenport is a two-time Big Ten Player of the Year and was the number two overall pick in the 2007 WNBA draft.
She was waived by the New York Liberty during training camp this spring. At 6'5", davenport becomes the tallest player on the Indiana roster.
The fever is back in action on Friday when they face the Detroit Shock at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
