(MOOSIC, PA) - Jeff Salazar homered in both games as the Indianapolis Indians swept a doubleheader from the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees, winning the opener 7-1 and taking the nightcap 6-3.
Salazar, Garrett Jones and Erik Kratz hit solo home runs in the opener as the tribe snapped a three-game losing streak.
Tom Gorzelanny allowed a run on two hits over five innings to get the win, improving to 2-and-1.
Salazar's solo homer off Yankees starter josh towers in game two led off what became a four-run top of the fourth for the Indians.
The big frame erased a 3-0 Scranton lead that was the result of Shelly Duncan's three-run homer in the third.
The Tribe's Pennsylvania road trip continues tonight in Allentown where they will take on the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs.
