(SOUTH BEND) - Notre Dame senior-to-be Luke Harangody held a news conference on Tuesday to discuss his decision to withdraw his name from consideration for next week’s NBA draft.
The 6-8 forward from Andrean High School said that he was enjoying his time in college and that he did not want to leave school on the heels of last season's disappointing finish.
He also said that the uncertainty of this draft and his position in it led him to remain at Notre Dame.
He was expected to go late in the first round or early in the second round next Thursday night.
Harangody has led the Big East in scoring and rebounding each of the past two seasons and was the conference player of the year for the 2007-2008 campaign.
