(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Yadier Molina homered and Colby Rasmus drove home a couple of runs as the St. Louis Cardinals edged the Detroit Tigers 4-3.
Curtis Granderson hit a pair of solo home runs for Detroit with the second one tying the game at two in the top of the fifth.
Rasmus hit an RBI triple in the bottom of the fifth to give the cardinals the lead for good.
Todd Wellemeyer allowed two runs over five and-a-third innings to pick up the win and even his record at 6 and 6.
Edwin Jackson took the loss for Detroit as the Tigers lost their fourth game in a row.
