(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) The Norfolk Tides picked up a 4-2 win over the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field to avoid a four-game series sweep.
Jolbert Cabrera delivered the key hit when his two-run single in the sixth put the tides up for good at 3-2.
Joey Gathright would add some insurance with an RBI double in the seventh.
Chris Snelling had put the tribe up 2-1 in the fifth with an RBI single, but Indianapolis could not hold on as their four-game winning streak came to an end.
The Indians open a four-game series with the Gwinnett Braves tonight at home.
