(BROOKLYN, MI) Mark martin took the lead when Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle ran out of fuel on the final lap to capture the win at Sunday’s Sprint Cup Lifelock 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
Johnson had passed Biffle with six laps remaining, but slowed coming off turn four to take the white flag and was passed by Biffle.
Biffle slowed on the backstretch and was passed by Martin, who claimed his third win of the season.
Jeff Gordon finished second with Denny Hamlin third and Carl Edwards fourth.
Greg Biffle coasted across the line in fifth while Johnson dropped all the way to 22nd.
Tony Stewart finished seventh and saw his points lead over Gordon fall to 47.
