(DETROIT, MI) - The Detroit Tigers won their seventh game in a row, edging the Chicago Cubs 6-5 to complete a three-game series sweep.
Indianapolis native Jake Fox put the cubs on the board in the first when he hit a three-run home run off Detroit starter Armando Galarraga.
It was Fox's first major league home run.
The Cubs took a 4-2 lead to the bottom of the fourth when Ryan Raburn hit an RBI double and Magglio Ordonez gave the Tigers the lead for good with a two-run shot of Ted Lilly.
Micah Hoffpauir would add a homer in the top of the ninth to draw Chicago to within a run, but Fernando Rodney shut the door to send the cubs to their fourth-straight loss.
