(CINCINNATI, OH) - Mark Buehrle threw seven shutout innings as the Chicago White Sox beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-1.
Buehrle gave up five hits, striking out three and walking one to improve to 7-2.
AJ Pierzynski and Paul Konerko had RBI singles and DeWayne Wise added a run-scoring double as the Sox took two of three in the series and won for the tenth time in their last eleven tries against Cincinnati.
Brandon Phillips drove in the lone Reds run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth.
Aaron Harang took the loss for Cincinnati to fall to 5-7.
