(CHICAGO, IL) - John Danks threw seven strong innings, Alexei Ramirez and Jermaine Dye homered as the Chicago White Sox blanked the Chicago Cubs 6-0.
Ramirez put the Sox ahead to stay when he hammered a two-run shot off Cubs starter Carlos Zambrano in the bottom of the third.
The White Sox scored another run in the fourth when Dewayne wise reached on an infield single and twice more in the sixth on a chris getz steal of home and wise scoring when Ryan Theriot failed to corral Dye's bases-loaded infield popup, allowing wise to score from third.
Dye capped the scoring with his solo shot in the eighth.
Danks allowed four hits over seven innings to even his record at 6 and 6.
Zambrano took the loss and drops to 4 and 3.
