(KANSAS CITY, MO)- The Royals’ Zack Greinke gave up 8 hits in 7 innings Sunday, but with a 4-1 lead against the visiting White Sox he still looked to be a sure bet for his ninth win of the season.
The Sox had other plans.
A.J. Pierzynski started a 3 run 9th inning rally with a single, as Chicago came from behind to beat the Royals 7-4.
Scott Podsednik had a double, single, triple and scored two runs for the Sox, who swept the Royals in a three game series for the first time since 2005.
