(CHICAGO, IL) - Scott Podsednik’s bases-loaded single with two out in the bottom of the 13th gave the Chicago White Sox a 6-5 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
L-A jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Paul Konerko hit a solo homer and Dewayne Wise hit an RBI triple in the fifth to make it 4-2.
AJ Pierzynski gave Chicago its first lead when he slammed a three-run homer off Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley in the sixth.
Casey Blake tied the game with an RBI groundout in the seventh and that is the way it would remain until Podsednik's game-winner in the 13th.
The Sox took two of three from Los Angeles in the series.
