(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Practice for Sunday’s Allstate 400 at the Brickyard gets underway this afternoon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
There will be two one-hour practice sessions as teams prepare for qualifying on Saturday morning.
Three-time defending Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson won the pole and the race last year.
Two-time Brickyard winner Tony Stewart enters the weekend as the sprint cup points leader, holding a 175-point edge over Jeff Gordon in the standings.
