(ANAHEIM, CA) - Gary Matthews junior hit a go-ahead three-run double in the bottom of the eighth as the Los Angeles Angels snapped Cleveland’s five-game winning streak by edging the Indians 7-6.
Rivera's hit capped the Angels' four-run eighth and gave Los Angeles a 7-4 lead.
The Indians scored twice against closer Brian Fuentes in the ninth as Fuentes failed to retire a batter.
Jason Bulger came in and shut the door on Cleveland to get the save.
Ben Francisco and Jhonny Peralta homered for the Indians.
