(HOUSTON, TX) - Chris Coste hit a game-tying RBI double and Miguel Tejada drove home the game-winner with a single as the Houston Astros scored twice in the bottom of the ninth to edge the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3.
Mark Derosa hit a solo homer and Yadier Molina had an RBI single as the Redbirds took a 3-2 lead into the ninth.
St. Louis closer Ryan Franlin gave up hits to the first three batters he faced before getting Michael Bourn to fly out and Kaz Matsui to hit into a fielder's choice with Coste being thrown out at home.
Tejada then stroked a single to left to give the Astros a three-game series sweep.
Houston and Chicago move a game behind the first-place Cardinals in the NL Central.
