(LOS ANGELES, CA) - Manny Ramirez’ pinch-hit grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a 6-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds and a sweep of the three-game series.
Reds starter Bronson Arroyo had loaded the bases with one out in the sixth and was removed by manager Dusty Baker when Ramirez was called on to pinch hit.
Ramirez slammed Nick Masset's first pitch into the left field stands to break a 2-2 tie.
Ramirez was relegated to pinch-hitting duty after being hit in the left hand by a homer bailey pitch on Tuesday.
Los Angeles has won five games in a row and have beaten Cincinnati twelve consecutive times at Dodger Stadium.
