(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Unseeded Robby Ginepri pulled off the upset, defeating third-seeded Sam Querrey 6-2, 6-4 to win the singles title at the Indianapolis
Tennis Championships. Ginepri, the 95th-ranked player in the world, won at Indianapolis in 2005.
That 2005 match at the Indianapolis Tennis Center was his last appearance in the finals of an ATP event.
Ginepri is the first American to win the Indianapolis tournament since James Blake in 2006.
