(COLUMBUS, OH) - Hector Rondon was impressive in his triple-a debut, throwing six innings of no-hit ball to lead the Columbus Clippers past the Indianapolis Indians 2-1.
Rondon, the top pitching prospect in the Cleveland Indians' organization, walked two and struck out eight to pick up his first win as a clipper.
Trevor Crowe gave Columbus a 1-0 lead with an RBI double in the third and Andy Marte's run-scoring single made it 2-0 clippers in the seventh.
The tribe's only run came in the ninth when Hector Giminez' sacrifice fly scored Brian Myrow from third.
The teams have split the first two games of the three-game series with the rubber match this afternoon in Columbus.
