(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Chris Barnwell’s RBI double in the bottom of the eighth drove home the winning run as the Indianapolis Indians edged the Buffalo Bisons 4-3, earning a split of the four-game series.
Tom Gorzelanny pitched into the seventh inning, allowing two runs on seven hits and driving in the tribe's first run with a squeeze bunt in the third inning that scored Barnwell.
Gorzelanny did not figure in the decision.
The Indians hit the road for their next eight games.
They open a four-game series in Norfolk tonight.
