(COLUMBUS, OH) - The Indianapolis Indians opened a three-game series in Columbus with a 13-6 win over the Clippers.
Chris Barnwell and Jonel Pacheco drove in three runs apiece to pace the Indianapolis offense.
Brian Bixler and Erik Kratz hit solo homers and drove in two runs each for the Tribe.
Trevor Crowe and Matt LaPorta drove in two runs apiece for Columbus as the Clippers lost for the tenth time in their last twelve games.
Game two of the series is tonight in Columbus.
