(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Jimmie Johnson held off Hendrick Racing teammate Mark Martin to win Sunday’s Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.
Johnson passed Martin with 24 laps remaining and held off a late charge by the pole sitter, winning by four-tenths of a second.
Points leader Tony Stewart came in third with Greg Biffle and Brian Vickers rounding out the top five.
With the win, Johnson vaults past another Hendrick teammate in Jeff Gordon for second place in Sprint Cup points, 192 points behind Stewart.
