(PHILADELPHIA, PA) - The Philadelphia Phillies ran their winning streak to nine with a 10-1 pounding of the Chicago Cubs.
Raul Ibanez hit a three-run home run, his 25th of the season while Carlos Ruiz hammered a two-run shot and drove in three.
Ryan Howard would add a solo blast, his 24th of the year.
Rodrigo Lopez pitched six innings of one-run, five-hit ball to improve to 2 and 0.
Cubs starter Ted Lilly allowed seven earned runs in four innings of work to take the loss, falling to 9 and 7.
Ryan Theriot drove in Chicago's lone run with a fifth inning single as the cubs see a four-game winning streak come to an end.
