(PITTSBURGH, PA) - Ross Ohlendorf threw seven innings of shutout baseball as the Pittsburgh Pirates blanked the Chicago Cubs 3-0.
Ohlendorf allowed four hits while striking out eight and walking none to improve to 7 and 6 on the season.
Freddy Sanchez went 3 for 3 with two runs batted in as Pittsburgh halted a two-game skid.
Ted Lilly allowed two earned runs on eight hits over seven innings to take the loss, falling to 7 and 6.
