(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Hoosiers Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman were at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday to promote the July 26th Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.
Stewart, a Columbus resident and two-time Allstate 400 champion, says he expects a competitive race with none of the tire problems that marred last year's event.
Stewart leads the Sprint Cup points standings while Newman, a South Bend native, is seventh.
Both are teammates at Stewart-Haas Racing where Stewart is in his first year as a team owner.
NASCAR races at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend.
