(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - Michael Cuddyer’s two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth gave the Minnesota Twins a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Rookie Gordon Beckham gave the Sox the early lead with a solo homer in the second, but Minnesota responded with a pair of unearned runs in the bottom half of the second.
Paul Konerko made it 3-2 Chicago when he touched Minnesota starter Glen Perkins for a two-run shot in the third.
That was all of the scoring until Cuddyer's shot off White Sox starter John Danks.
Perkins gets the win to improve to 6 and 6.
Danks takes the loss to fall to 8 and 7.
