(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Minnesota Twins completed a three-game series sweep of Chicago, defeating the White Sox 3-2 at the Metrodome.
Alexi Casilla drove in two runs for the twins, including a go-ahead RBI single in the sixth inning. Jayson Nix and Carlos Quentin hit solo homers for the Sox, who have lost six of their last seven games.
With the win, Minnesota passes Chicago in the AL Central standings.
The twins remain two games behind division-leading Detroit while the White Sox fall three games off the pace.
