(MILWAUKEE, WI) - While much of the focus of the golf world was on the British Open in Scotland, Richmond’s Bo Van Pelt picked up his first win on the PGA Tour.
Van Pelt hit a three-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff with John Mallinger to win the US Bank Championship in Milwaukee.
For Van Pelt, it was his first career win in 229 starts on the tour.
He collected a check for $720,000 dollars for the win.
