(CHICAGO, IL) - Melky Cabrera hit for the cycle and drove in four runs to lead the New York Yankees past the Chicago White Sox 8-5.
Cabrera put the Yankees on the board first with a three-run homer off Chicago Starter Mark Buehrle in the second inning.
He would follow with a double in the fourth, an RBI single in the fifth and his first triple of the season in the ninth to complete the cycle.
Jermaine Dye hit a two-run homer and Jim Thome added a solo shot for Chicago as the White Sox failed in their attempt to sweep the four-game series.
