(ST. LOUIS, MO) - The St. Louis Cardinals ran their winning streak to four with a 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.
Colby Rasmus broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth when he drew a bases-loaded walk from reds reliever kip wells.
Wells entered the game in the third when starter Johnny Cueto left with a hip injury.
The Redbirds would pick up a pair of insurance runs in the sixth on RBI doubles from Khalil Greene and Brendan Ryan.
Kyle Lohse allowed a run on four hits over six innings to get the win, improving to 5 and 7.
Wells took the loss.
