(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts held two full-squad practices at Rose-Hulman Institute on Tuesday as they get ready for their preseason opener on Friday night with the Minnesota Vikings.
Head coach Jim Caldwell has not determined how long the starters will play on Friday, but many will not play much beyond the first quarter.
Quarterback Peyton Manning missed all of the preseason last year and does not expect to play much against the Vikings.
Purdue rookie Curtis Painter should see significant playing time at quarterback with backup Jim Sorgi expected to miss at least the first two preseason games.
The Colts will hold two more full-squad workouts today in Terre Haute.
