(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts’ starters will see their largest amount of playing time during the preseason against Detroit on Saturday afternoon.
Head Coach Jim Caldwell said on Tuesday that he expects the first-string offense to play into the third quarter.
Once the starters are out, the coaching staff will focus on those players who are on the bubble as the first cutdown date looms.
NFL teams must reduce their rosters from 80 players to 75 by this Tuesday afternoon.
The Colts will wrap up the preseason on September 3rd at Cincinnati with the final cutdown to 53 players coming on Saturday, September 5th.
