(CINCINNATI, OH) - Matt Kemp homered and drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the twelfth as the Los Angeles Dodgers edged the Cincinnati Reds 3-2.
Darnell McDonald gave Cincinnati the early lead with a two-run home run in the second, the first homer of his major league career.
Kemp hit a solo shot in the fifth and LA starter Clayton Kershaw would tie the game with an RBI single later in the inning.
Kershaw pitched seven innings, striking out eleven.
Los Angeles pitching combined to strike out 20 Reds during the game as the Dodgers took two of three in the series.
