(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever are back home to open a three-game homestand on Thursday night when they face the San Antonio Silver Stars.
The Fever headed to the west coast needing one win to clinch a playoff berth, but could not get the job done as they lost at Sacramento and at Seattle to fall to 19 and 7.
Indiana holds a five-game lead over the Atlanta Dream and the Connecticut Sun in the Eastern Conference standings and could possibly clinch a spot in the playoffs before Thursday's game with the Silver Stars.
The Fever also hold a one and-a-half game edge on the Phoenix Mercury in the battle for the best overall record in the WNBA and home court advantage throughout the postseason.
