(SACRAMENTO, CA) - The Indiana Fever missed a chance to lock up a playoff berth Thursday night, falling to the Sacramento Monarchs 67-62 at Arco Arena.
Rebekkah Brunson led the Monarchs with 16 points and ten rebounds with Nicole Powell adding 14 points and ten boards as Sacramento snapped a three-game losing streak at home.
Indiana's Katie Douglas led all scorers with 21 points while Tamika Catchings added 16 points and a team-high nine rebounds as the Fever fall to 19 and 6.
The two-game western trip concludes Saturday night in Seattle.
