(CHICAGO, IL) - Jamey Carroll hit a go-ahead 2-run double in the fifth inning and a solo homer in the seventh to lead the Cleveland Indians past the Chicago White Sox 8-4.
The Evansville native capped Cleveland's four-run top of the fifth with his double off White Sox starter Jose Contreras.
Rookie catcher Wyatt Toregas also drove in three runs as the Indians took two of three in the series.
Alexei Ramirez and AJ Pierzynski hit solo home runs for Chicago with Ramirez finishing with two runs batted in.
The Sox fall three-games behind first-place Detroit in the AL Central.
