(UNDATED) - There were a pair of driver moves announced Tuesday in the IndyCar Series.
Rookie Robert Doornbos has left Newman-Haas-Lanigan Racing and is expected to join HVM Racing, with whom he won two races in the old champ car world series.
Doornbos has struggled in his first year with the IndyCar Series and currently stands 15th in driver points.
Conquest racing announced that Nelson Phillippe will drive at Sonoma and Homestead this season.
Phillippe made his IndyCar Series debut at Indianapolis in May, finishing 25th in the Indianapolis 500.
