(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Charlotte Knights scored six runs in the top of the second and held off the Indianapolis Indians 8-7, avoiding a four-game series sweep at Victory Field.
The tribe jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first, but Miguel neuron put the Knights ahead to stay with his two-run double in the second as charlotte snapped a six-game losing streak.
Brian Bixler and Jeff Clement hit solo homers for Indianapolis.
The Indians open a four-game series with the Columbus Clippers tonight at Victory Field.
